Job Responsibilities :
- Assessment: Evaluate clients' abilities and limitations across physical, cognitive, and environmental factors.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized plans to improve clients' daily functioning through activities, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
- Interventions: Implement therapies like motor skills training, cognitive retraining, and adaptive equipment use.
- Education: Teach clients and families strategies for independent living and wellness management.
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment coordination.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of progress and treatment plans.
- Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, and participate in community outreach.
- Research: Stay updated on latest practices and contribute to evidence-based research in the field.
Requirement :
- Obtain a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university or institution.
- Be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
