Programme & Strategy Manager

LOVE, NILS is a Singapore-registered IPC charity; our mission is to provide support to children with cancer and their caregivers to enable them to thrive.

We are seeking a Programme & Strategy Manager that will lead the Programme Department to successfully plan and organise programmes that provide meaningful psychosocial support to our beneficiaries. This role will ensure positive programme impact, strong beneficiary engagement and is vital for the charity to deliver on its vision and mission of providing high quality supportive programmes to children with cancer and their families.

This is a highly collaborative role that works with a variety of partners and community groups. This role will liaise directly with beneficiaries regarding programme offerings and enrolment, manage programme and event logistics, collect and maintain programme data, and ensure successful programme delivery. Effective assessment and being solutions driven is key to improving the programmes we offer.

Reports to: Executive Director

Direct reports in your team: 2-3 staff

Work arrangement: Hybrid (in office & work from home)

Compensation: Basic monthly + yearly performance bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme Strategy and Logistics

  • Lead programme implementation and manage all programme delivery logistics, with a strong focus in creating programmes that are in demand and meaningful to the beneficiaries
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery, including special events throughout the calendar year
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to establish and grow positive working relationships
  • Utilise Case Management System (Octopus 8) to collect and evaluate programmes data for quality, efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore

Community Management and Communication

  • Create a strong sense of community by communicating with families in a sensitive, positive and supportive manner
  • Serve as an information resource to families and facilitate communication directly with beneficiaries to promote programme offerings, answer inquiries, and enrolment and exit of programmes
  • Serve as a trusted ambassador for the charity, promoting and increasing awareness to the community, listening and gathering valuable feedback on the ground
  • Participate actively in initiatives to promote programmes

Evaluation and Reports

  • Monitor and measure programme performance (KPIs) to optimise results against programme goals and adhere to approved budgets
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports, and provide key inputs for quarterly Board reports
  • Research and analyse what other similar social service agencies / charities are doing locally and internationally
  • Collect and implement programme impact data, including outputs, testimonials and surveys for data impact analysis, annual report and programme evaluation
  • Provide solutions to improve our programmes and manage budget allocation for the projected year

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong passion and dedication to serve in the social sector
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in social work, psychology or related field
  • 3+ years experience in Programme Management or related field
  • Previous experience working or volunteering in non-profit or social service agencies
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills with excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and families
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once and leading a team to meet programme objectives
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and target driven with a keen sense of innovation
  • Flexible to work occasional weekends and evenings (time off in lieu will be given)
