Job Description: Drafter/QS/Site Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Drafter/QS/Site Engineer. This role requires a combination of technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting technical drawings, conducting quantity surveying tasks, and providing on-site engineering support.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting:Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and company specifications.
- Quantity Surveying:Take off quantities for materials, labor, and equipment.
Prepare cost estimates and bill of quantities for construction projects.
Analyze and evaluate tender documents and bids.
- Site Engineering:Assist in site supervision and coordination.
Monitor progress and quality of construction work.
Resolve technical issues and coordinate with subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in quantity surveying and site engineering is preferred.
