Job Description
- Shuck oysters in a timely manner while maintaining quality oyster presentation.
- Attend to multiple orders simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.
- Set up raw bar and provide quality service for catering events.
- Collaborate with the head chef to shuck and serve oysters during food service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shucking station.
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, enhancing the dining experience.
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering as needed.
- Assist with other kitchen prep work
Requirements:
- Ability to shuck oysters quickly and efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Capability to handle a high volume of orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience setting up and operating a raw bar.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the head chef and other team members.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
