Technical and Business development responsibilities:.
- Responsible for the EBITDA and overall performance of the department.
- Member of the Senior Management Team responsible for envisioning the business direction for profitability, growth and customer satisfaction.
- Actively involved in implementing the highly-acclaimed Efficient Best Practices for Operational and Management excellence - a worldwide drive by the Company.
- Planning the technical developments as well as ensuring compliance to Quality systems.
- Developing sales strategies and targets as well as establish pricing methodologies in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Advisory and technical support to the various business lines.
- Ensuring implementation of the 5S guidelines and compliance to HSE regulations.
- Coordinate/Collaborate with labs within the region and outside the region to offer comprehensive solutions to the clients, both locally and internationally.
- Provide technical expertise to the team on the services provided by the company to its customers
- Plan daily operation for execution as per agreed time lines with customers
- Train the technicians on the job requirements
- Take responsibility for the budgeted numbers and strive to over achieve the targets month after month
- Strive and achieve 100% customer satisfaction by timely reports, by providing technical advice to clients, when needed and proactively anticipate and satisfy the client needs
- Be abreast with the latest developments in the field
- Inter-department/Location co-ordination and work as “One Company One Team” both internally and externally
- Provide timely reports on the activities and future outlook for the business
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned and agreed from time to time
Managerial responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic team meetings with specific emphasis on HSE, technical updates etc.
- Co-ordinate for periodic training for the team
- Represent the department in inter-department and client meetings
- Motivate the team for superior performance and be a conduit between employees needs and the company
- Plan and manage department employees leave with minimum effect on the operations
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Departmental responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving conflicts.
