Overview: We are seeking a Senior Consultant with a strong techno-functional background in business analysis and financial risk management, specifically within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing financial solutions, managing risk calculations, and handling Murex system upgrades and migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Management: Specialize in market and credit risk analysis within a banking environment, focusing on capital requirements, risk charge modules, and regulatory compliance.
- Solution Implementation: Implement and manage financial solutions such as XVA/PFE, and oversee collateral agreements and risk computations.
- System Upgrades: Lead Murex version upgrade projects, including merging applications and ensuring smooth transitions. Manage testing phases, address issues, and provide post-production support.
- Regulatory Compliance: Configure and validate risk management rules in accordance with banking regulations. Develop and manage reporting interfaces for regulatory requirements.
- Murex Expertise: Work with various Murex modules including MLC, PFE, Market Risk Engine, and others. Handle Murex Limit Controller (MLC) and Counterparty Credit Risk (SA-CCR) configurations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare reports, and resolve discrepancies. Engage with vendors and other teams as needed.
Technical Skills:
- Systems & Tools: Extensive experience with Murex systems and modules related to market risk, credit risk, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills: Risk Analysis, Solution Implementation, Murex Configuration, Regulatory Reporting, System Upgrades, Functional Design, Testing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a techno-functional role within the banking sector, with hands-on experience in financial risk management, Murex systems, and system implementations.
- Technical Expertise: Proven background in Murex and other financial systems, with a strong understanding of banking regulations and risk management processes.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
