Overview: We are seeking a highly competent and result-driven Senior Tech Lead – Tableau Developer with extensive banking experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Tableau Development, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics, with a strong background in the banking sector.
The role involves developing and delivering innovative Tableau dashboards, overseeing technical activities, and leading a team to achieve high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver innovative Tableau dashboards, data analytics, and BI solutions tailored to key clients.
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality using trusted authentication techniques for Tableau Server.
- Draft and maintain all design documents for Tableau dashboards.
- Execute action filters, parameters, calculated fields, and sets for preparing Tableau dashboards.
- Migrate reports from Power BI and legacy systems to Tableau.
- Administer users, user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau.
- Direct and manage all facets of projects including system analysis, requirement gathering, design, development, functional testing, service delivery, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, communication, and team performance through training initiatives.
- Assign work to team members, manage their performance, conduct one-on-one sessions, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team efficiency.
- Lead Tableau migration and transition projects, working closely with top management and clients to address complex business problems, including requirements determination, business blueprint, configuration, custom code specifications, go-live assistance, and post-implementation support following Agile methodology.
- Design and deliver Tableau-based solutions that address core business issues, with in-depth knowledge of modern technology and its implementation.
- Provide leadership and contribute to large-scale PMO teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery and tangible results for enterprise-level financial and resource management systems.
- Establish and foster a high-performance culture, focusing on strategic customer engagement and driving sustainable and profitable growth through innovation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Data Warehousing, Tableau Dashboards, Data Analytics, BI Solutions, and Data Security, with a strong emphasis on banking experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified BI Developer.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Microsoft Technologies, including SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Tableau.
- Project Management: Proven track record of executing Tableau migration and transition projects, with expertise in Agile methodology.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in managing large-scale projects and teams, and driving high performance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to collaborate with stakeholders, manage teams, and drive process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial systems and resource management systems within the banking sector.
- Ability to design and implement modern technology solutions to address complex business challenges.
