Responsibilities
- Prepare submissions and clear authorities’ requirements which will include drawings, design calculations and report writing and other relevant material to meet the submission requirements
- Responsible for timely submission of reports and completion of projects for tender/submission with target dates
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
- Attend meetings during course of construction of projects
- Monitor the progress of civil works and ensure that jobs are completed on schedule
- Responsible for all the site implementation and completion towards management target, client’s expectation and compliance to authorities’ regulations
- Work under the advice of the Safety Officer to adhere to compliance & safety requirements with regulatory and industry standards during the construction phase
- Candidate to be able to work shift works due to the demands of the project
- Responsible for on-site technical / engineering / administrative matters
- Candidate expected to work in a team, those who possess team work spirit is welcome to join.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant
- Minimum 4-6 years’ engineering experience
- Proven working experience in civil engineering
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
- Willing to work at construction sites
- Ability to communicate and work with client, consultant and subcontractor
- Able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
- Able to work collaboratively with others
- Class 3 driving license
- Familiar with construction field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Autocad
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to think strategically
- Outstanding Problem-solving skills
- Strong, dynamic working style
