We seek a dedicated & conscientious Assistant Store Manager, a character that is responsible, diligent and self-motivated. The Assistant Store manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store. This includes ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing staff, optimising sales and maintaining inventory levels. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for implementing company policies & procedures, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a positive work environment. When the need arises, the Assistant Store Manager should be able to step up and manage the team and the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Deliver excellent customer service, cultivating a pleasant shopping experience for customers
- Identify & handle customer enquiries & feedback promptly
- Recommend creative ideas to build / develop strong regular clientele
Community / VIP customers
- Fostering a deep sense of belonging in our Ksisters' community
- Manages offline community building with cross-functional teams
Operations
- Oversee daily store operations & assist in supervising a team of retail associates
- Ensure store presentation is consistent with brand image
- Ensure retail associates are well-groomed & presentable at all times during working hours
- Manage store inventory & promptly alert management of concerning stock levels
Sales
- Able to manage, drive & achieve KPI(s)
- Analyse monthly sales results to management for performance evaluation & suggest action plans
- Coordinate & execute sales plans, marketing events & promotion programs with the team
Leadership
- Train, motivate & support retail associates to uphold company values & standards
- Monitor, coach & assist management in onboarding of new staff
Other duties
- Perform yearly appraisals for team members
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in retail as a retail manager (Beauty retail is a plus!)
- Passionate about the retail industry & has strong leadership abilities
- Must be a good team player, self motivated, open-minded & proactive with high integrity level
- Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong adaptability skills in a fast paced environment
- Possesses problem-solving & planning skills
- Proficient computer skills (Knowledge of e-commerce is a plus)
- Able to work shifts / weekends & public holidays (Total 44 hours per week)
- Able to start in September 2024
