As part of a Global Manufacturing Facility in Singapore, the Senior Quality Engineer will be a key member of the Laser department to drive quality and reliability improvements for laser related products and systems.
Responsibilities:
• Drive Quality and Reliability improvements for laser related systems and products
• Establish and develop Quality Control systems and process for laser/optomechanical related components
• Key Quality person for the laser production team to oversee failure analysis, corrective and preventative actions etc.
• Provide quality engineering support for project and manufacturing teams
• Drive continuous improvements working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance
• Mentor quality engineers to manage Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma projects
Requirements
• 7-12+ years experience in manufacturing environment
• Msut come from an optics background, familiar with laser/optical/optomechanical components or products
• Good knowledge in quality systems and regulatory standards; 8D, RCA, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Process Validations etc.
