Job responsibilities
- You are expected to achieve targets set which involves calling of policyholders on a daily basis to initiate recovery;
- Engage and communicate with our policyholders to gather information and assist them in claim submission to third party;
- Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to proceed with the claims recovery process;
- Demonstrate and ensure standard operating procedures are met when handling outbound and inbound calls with policyholders and financial consultants;
- Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of call activities and outcomes;
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments/projects assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery and/or claim operations experience;
- Prior experience in customer service will be an added advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time managment skills
- Good interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills required
- Knowledge of life insurance policy coverage, statues, regulations and subrogation processing is a plus
