Job Summary
The PR Senior Executive will play a vital role in upholding and scaling the Bacha Coffee brand to greater heights. You will be assisting to develop and be responsible for implementing effective PR strategies that enhance our brand awareness and reputation, while peripherally ensuring efforts are aligned with business growth.
As the brand conquers the world, you will be part of this exponential, global growth, with PR-led openings in regions across Asia, Europe, Middle East and America.
Primary Relationships
The position reports to the Assistant Marketing Director and supports the Assistant PR Managers on a daily basis.
Within the organization, this position will work closely with the Corporate Communications Team (Marketing, Digital/Ecommerce, Social and CRM teams) and other relevant departments to ensure alignment on main strategy and fulfil any internal coordination required respectively.
Outside the organization, the position coordinates primarily with agencies, members of the media and influential personalities.
Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate with PR agencies and partners to ensure that strategies are sensible and well-executed
- Manage media seeding and other PR gifting matters
- Crafting persuasive and impactful press releases and other PR-related written materials and tools like Q&A, factsheets etc.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that PR efforts are aligned to key organisational and business objectives to ensure that campaigns run smoothly.
- Handle day-to-day PR activities and follow-up on requests by agencies/journalists
- Media pitching and any other PR tasks when needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a PR agency or corporate setting.
- Eloquent in written English. Proficiency in an additional language is a strong bonus.
- Fluent verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills expected of a PR professional.
- A keen understanding of media landscape and trends. International media exposure is a bonus.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously.
- Adaptive, independent, proactive, resourceful and have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- A problem solver with high attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.). Knowledge of social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social…) is a bonus.
- Possess a keen eye for aesthetics and details in visual content.
- Presentation skills and previous experience in the luxury industry would be a plus.
