Research Fellow
Responsibilities:
- Survey the state of the art in urban sustainability operations and optimization;
- Mathematical modelling and problem formulation to fit practical scenarios;
- Provide optimization and operation policy to guide urban sustainability; and
- Validate the findings using simulations and real data.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in control science and engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or applied mathematics;
- Has multiple publications in good conferences/journals in AI/computer science, electrical engineering, networking, experiments, and system optimization;
- Fluent in oral and written English;
- At least 2 years of experience in doing research in optimization algorithm design and system operations using performance control, machine learning, stochastic modelling, optimization, or game theory; and
- Experience in applying mathematical modelling and optimization algorithms to large-scale urban networks.
