Job description
- Develops transport solutions and delivers a high quality of service for our customers, whether importing or exporting, by air or sea, whatever the origin or destination.
- Acts as customer's key contact throughout the transport of his goods: informing him of important stages, alerting him to any regulatory constraints or unforeseen events, and doing his utmost to propose solutions when the situation calls for it.
- Communicates in real time with our customers and liaises with all our service providers, selected for their performance and reliability.
- Manages relationships and information requests from existing and/or potential customers
- Develops services provided to customers to improve their satisfaction
- Develops new routes to and from APAC to expand the range of services offered to Hillebrand Gori customers
- Negotiates with our partners and suppliers to get the best possible service
- Analyzes customer feedback and observations
Requirements
- Relevant experience in operations, sales and pricing in freight forwarding
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Responsive, able to solve problems quickly and make appropriate decisions
- Professional, proactive attitude and initiative with attention to detail and excellent organisational qualities
- Computer proficiency
- Good interpersonal skills/diplomacy and friendliness
- Enjoy working in a busy, demanding and fast-paced environment, while maintaining composure
- Knowledge of international trade (Incoterms)
