Requirements:
- Minimum local Diploma in engineering discipline.
- 5-years relevant past working experiences or equivalent local qualifications and subject to the acceptance from the Works Train Office.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office application and able to provide weekly reports to the WTM.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the proper functioning of station facilities & equipment, contractors working inside the station area.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the station to ensure safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with WTCO & WTSS to handle any security issues or emergencies.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs
- Oversee the locomotive operation and ensure no one in line of fire.
- Able to work independently and perform overtime work on a regular basis.
- Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operation.
- Able to handle situations, incidents, and accidents and implement recovery measures.
- Able to lead and take charge of a team.
