Japanese Sales Manager

We will count on you to:
- Generate new targets by cross selling, working on industry analysis, marketing events or make hypothesis and execute
- Collaborate and arrange well with internal business units, including Credit Specialties and Japan Client Services, across Asia as per opportunity
- Pipeline monitoring and follow up in each of the countries
- Assist each of the countries in their Trade Credit Insurance marketing
- Meeting preparation such as prospect analysis, data collection, and create slides in Japanese
- Inception guidance to prospects and arrange with internal team to ensure a successful transition
- Drive and promote new sales initiatives (both global and local) and product innovation
- Devise strategies for penetrating existing and new accounts to grow revenue year on year
- Daily Japanese communication with prospects, clients, and underwriters, such as collecting necessary information, answering basic inquiries, following up, negotiation etc
- Be familiar with business budgeting processes and monitor performance against budget
- Provide technical guidance / support to Surety and/or Credit Specialties colleagues across the Asia region
- Assist each country in their key accounts’ renewal, especially for defensive tenders of expansion opportunities
What you need to have:
- Degree in any discipline
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- Risk management or general insurance knowledge
- Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent. ANZIIF or ACII will be an advantage
