The Job

  • Coordinate warehouse operations using 5S techniques (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardise, Sustain).
  • Comply with safety, health and operational quality standards
  • Manage the arrangement and rotation of warehouse spare parts.
  • Coordinate material handling security procedures
  • Address operational shortfall and oversee maintenance or repair needs
  • Ensure compliance with height, weight and special handling requirements for stacking, moving, and arranging items according to storage plan
  • Execute continuous improvement activities and performance improvement strategies
  • Perform stock control and housekeeping operations for warehouse items
  • Review and address spare parts quality issues in a timely manner
  • Track item handling schedules to ensure adherence to timelines
  • Maintain records of sales and restock the items as needed
  • Keep the store clean and organized
  • Ensuring proper storage of goods following the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method
  • Complete necessary documentation for orders and purchases
  • Label and categorize goods based on their vehicle models
  • Communicate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing

Requirement

  • Prior experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or in a workshop/spare-parts warehouse is advantageous.
  • Competency in data entry, analysis, and management
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to work 6 days
