Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a focus on managing, analysing, developing, and automating software projects. You will be part of a dynamic DevOps team, responsible for automating manual tasks, issue fixes, and enhancing the deployment pipeline using tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence. The role also involves managing L3 application production support and coordinating with infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyse, manage, and automate software projects based on functional requirements, creating automation plans and test scripts.
· Collaborate within the DevOps team to identify and automate manual tasks.
· Take ownership of assigned work products, ensuring delivery within the stipulated timeline.
· Improve and manage deployment pipelines, with exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
· Provide L3 production support and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
· Actively participate in team meetings, including inception, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
· Collaborate closely with programmers and other team members, contributing to testing.
· Respond to internal project queries and requirements with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
· 4-5 years of software development experience, with a proven track record in designing and delivering application solutions.
· Strong technical skills in Microsoft and .NET technologies, including hands-on experience with:
· C#/VB.NET programming, .Net Core ,MS SQL Server (stored procedures)
· ASP.NET, Web API, Windows Services, web services
· Python scripting, VBA programming, XML, JSON, batch scripts
· Experience with L2/L3 production support, application setup, and system security controls.
· Exposure to DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflow.
· Experience with testing tools like JIRA and Confluence.
· Knowledge of banking domains is an added advantage.
· Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with distributed teams.
· Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Optional but preferred: experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS, OpenShift, or using Dockers.
· Proficiency with Python and VBA programming is a plus.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
