JOB SUMMARY
In charge of implementing health and safety standards in a company. Supports organizational WSH
procedures by conducting safety checks to identify non-compliance with procedures and legal WSH
requirements. Observe daily work practices and gather feedback from workers. Evaluate workplace hazards and report any issues requiring corrective and preventive actions.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular inspections are conducted to ensure compliance with MOM safety requirements and company policies.
- Provide Safety Induction Courses to employees, vendors, and contractors as needed.
- Assist with monthly EHS inspections and ensure any issues are addressed before meetings.
- Perform pre-operation safety checks by company requirements
- Check the First Aid box, firefighting equipment, and emergency showers monthly to ensure they are in good condition.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure adequate First Aiders and CERT members are present.
- Assist with safety promotion planning and execution
- Help ensure compliance with licensed inventory for P&FM, HS, and EP
- To prevent recurrence, assist with incident investigations and provide necessary controls after risk assessments.
- Prepare safety reports as needed and report safety infringements and incidents to management promptly.
- Review and ensure all EOHS documents are up-to-date.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualification
Diploma in Engineering
Skills Required (Must Have)
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to response to emergency
- Risk assessment and hazard analysis
- Ability to perform safety audits and inspection
- Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, Level A
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health, Level B
