The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records and transactions.
- Ensure monthly closing by stipulated deadline.
- Involve in GST submission, budgeting & forecasting, corporate tax and financial statements.
- Handle year-end audit and XBRL filing.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly department expenses reports
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST submission
- Monthly closing such as transactional accounting activities, preparation of financial reports
- Cashflow management, credit control & receivables management
- Prepare and maintain the relevant account schedule, deposit, provision, prepayment and etc.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents and company secretaries on annual AGM, statutory audit and yearly tax filing matters
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related studies
- At least 5 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts
- Proficient with MS Office and knowledge in XERO Accounting Software
Able to start work immediately or with short notice
