Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is hiring a Research Fellow to become part of a team working on projects in pure mathematics in the areas of Quantum Topology and Low-dimensional topology. The specific topics are related to recent discoveries in the areas of skein theory, the 3D Index, and related constructions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PI and other members of the team, some supervision of junior researchers, preparation of computer code to support the research
- Support the preparation of manuscripts for publication
- Attend regular meetings and seminars with the PI and other members of the team. There will be some research supervision of junior mathematicians, such as undergraduate students doing related projects.
- Work on computer code to support the investigations
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, such as for publication
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Pure Mathematics from an area related to the goals of the project.
