The Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our Global IT team as the sole IT headcount at our Singapore HQ. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the local IT function while collaborating closely with global teams.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-pressure, fast-evolving environment where ownership and initiative are essential. You will be responsible for supporting daily operations and setting the long-term IT strategy in a rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic IT plans that align with business objectives and support growth.
- Lead and manage critical IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Examples of IT projects would be ERP maintenance, MDM, cybersecurity and BCP
- Provide hands-on operational support to multiple business units, focusing on enhancing productivity through technology.
- Oversee IT infrastructure maintenance and security, driving continuous improvements.
- Manage the IT budget and resources to maximize efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT function, identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
- Act as the local IT expert, proactively resolving issues and anticipating future needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Engineer with a proven track record in independently managing IT functions.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining IT ecosystems in small to medium-sized companies.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 administration; MCSE certifications are a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with resilience and determination in handling challenging situations.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively engaging with global stakeholders.
- A self-driven individual with strong analytical and decision-making skills, thriving in environments that require innovation and quick adaptation.
