JOB DESCRIPTION
1) To execute requests from Sales related to applications, innovation, technical requests, technical visits, troubleshooting, and customer complaints applicable to product performance.
2) To conduct pilot plant and application trials, including product shelf life and sensory testing.
3) Assist in customer trials, product innovation sessions, and technical workshops for the sales team, distributors, and customers, as when required.
4) To compile and interpret application data, and generate technical reports, graphs, and charts when needed.
5) To maintain pilot plant and laboratory equipment in good working conditions and ensure preventive maintenance program is carried out according to schedule and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
6) To store and keep raw materials and application samples in proper order and good condition with clear identification which should be easy to retrieve.
7) To ensure the safety and cleanliness of the workplace environment and pilot plant equipment.
8) To conduct laboratory consumable items are checked periodically and ordered for depleting and new items.
9) Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
1) Bachelor's Degree in food science, food technology
2) Or related with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience, especially in lab for R&D and applications.
LIST SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
1) Hand on in baking – breads, buns, cakes, pizza, and cookies.
2) Should be able to handle texture analyzer, volscan, and other similar.
3) Have good verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills.
4) Proactive, willing to learn, and meticulous in details.
