Job Title: Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Participate in algorithm development, analyze the charging/discharging behaviors and the cause of fault/failure, to reduce battery risk, extend battery lifetime and improve battery performance
• Code data analysis features and development of machine learning and deep learning algorithms
• Responsible for data cleaning, including but not limited to evaluating data reliability (data continuity, physical rationality), identifying and screening invalid data, completing data warehousing, and writing data quality report, etc.
• Responsible for data analysis, to get the data distribution regularity, quantify the degradation degree and residual value of battery, and realize data visualization
• Work with other engineers and third-party suppliers to build prototypes and demonstrators

Competency Requirement

• Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field (physics/ statistics background) or Master's in Artificial Intelligence
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Deep knowledge of probability, statistical and machine learning models with proven track record in choosing, modifying and applying advanced algorithms to address practical problems
• Strong understanding of statistics (hypothesis testing, regressions, etc.)
• Experience with (or strong interest in) architecting cloud software that interfaces with a hardware product
• Extensive knowledge and experience building services that manage and monitor devices
• Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience working with cloud IoT platforms is a plus
• Experience with both SQL and noSQL databases
• Experience building and deploying microservices in the cloud
• Extensive experience designing and implementing software quality patterns and practices (continuous integration, static analysis, unit testing, integrated testing)
• Demonstrated success working in fast-paced team environments and delivering high-quality software products using established Agile development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience in taking business requirements and translating them into executable user stories and workflows for software teams is a plus
