Job Responsibilities:
- Support procurement and cost reduction activities through sourcing and price negotiation of new and alternate parts.
- Provide technical support on component sourcing and substitution recommendation.
- Identify and select vendors to ensure continuity of parts / assemblies to meet customer specification.
- Involve in vendor audits and evaluations to drive continuous process and quality improvement.
- Establish cost reduction plan with vendors.
- Develop effective supply chain management with vendors.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commodity management or procurement in Electronics Manufacturing industry is preferred
- Experience with managing semiconductor devices.
- Knowledge of component knowledge is preferred
- Good network of supplier base
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
