The Program Manager will be a key member of the Global Business Organization (GBO) Programs Team. The team partners with the Managing Director for LinkedIn's APAC business on her priorities for the APAC region and the LinkedIn Talent Solutions business.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to act as a partner and advisor to senior leaders at LinkedIn ranging across sales, operations, finance, marketing, public policy and other cross-functional teams. The Program Manager’s primary focus will be to ensure the successful implementation of regional strategic projects and global initiatives across APAC. Additionally, they may be called on to help manage rhythm of business activities, as needed. This position reports to the Director, GBO Programs Team, APAC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing strong, trust-based relationships with the APAC leadership, working teams, cross-functional partners, and executive stakeholders, in the region and globally
- Strong advocating and influencing at all levels of the organization, including with Sr. Dir+ leaders
- Act like an owner and demonstrate leadership to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct data-driven analysis, extrapolate key insights, and deliver recommendations
- Manage regional project portfolio, track progress against key initiatives, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Building a long-term work plan that includes clear timelines, tollgates and success KPIs in partnership with the working teams
- Ensuring projects are properly scoped and resourced, and working team members are engaged and informed of key responsibilities
- Partnering with the working team to proactively identify risks/opportunities and surface recommendations
- Some travel may be required (approximately 1-2 trips per quarter).
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of industry experience in the technology/internet space or management consulting
- 4+ years of experience managing complex projects across different cross-functional teams
- BA or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and without much supervision
- Persuasive communication skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations - proven track record of working effectively across all levels and functions of an organization
- Experience working in a complex, high-growth, performance-focused environments
- Experience in managing diverse direct/indirect teams to achieve common goals
- Experience working with or in sales teams in Media or SaaS businesses
- Experience in working with senior stakeholders (Director+) and influencing without authority
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams
- Experience with change management a plus
- MBA or advanced degree, PMP certification a plus
