【Job Description】
- Lead, supervise and manage Loan and Remittance Operation Department.
- Account processing for banking transactions (Deposits, Loans, Remittances, Securities, Money, Foreign Exchange, etc.) and check the daily bank statement and maintain adequate account balance.
- Operate and manage the bank accounting system and subsystems (including SWIFT, custody system, etc.).
- Loan administrative, monitor funds transfer (inward and outward remittance) and reconcile customer's accounts.
- Matters relating FATCA, CRS, AML/CFT (control and management of customer remittances) and corporate tax filing.
- Other job assignments include expenses related operations (name screening, invoice management, payment, GST refund claim, etc.), HR related operations (salary and claim payment, individual income tax filing, visa issuance, etc.) and general affairs (contract management, etc.).
- Any other duties to be assigned by General Manager / Deputy General Manager.
【Requirements】
- Over 10 years of back operation experience in a financial institution, with mandatory recent experience within the last 5 years.
- At least 5 years of experience as a manager in a financial institution.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, laws, guidlines, and information security not only in Singapore but also in Japan, since the Branch's operations must also comply with financial regulations in Japan.
- Ability to understand and implement the Branch's policies, manuals and procedures and provide direction, guidance and execution to other staff.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree required.
- Japanese language proficiency is required as reports and planning materials must be prepared in Japanese with the Head Quarters, system vendors, and various related organizations.
