Job Roles
- To recruit and expand volunteer pool, especially through individual and community group engagements, to support NKF’s cause.
- To plan and execute volunteer programmes to support NKF patients in their rehabilitation journey.
- To support various NKF programmes through the deployment of volunteers.
- To plan and execute events.
Main Responsibilities
- To recruit, orientate, match and deploy volunteers into various volunteer programmes.
- To train and equip volunteers with the necessary skillsets required for the execution of various volunteering services.
- To ensure the smooth execution of volunteer programmes.
- To nurture and recognise volunteers’ effort in helping NKF.
- To plan and execute events as part of volunteer engagement and outreach efforts.
- To work closely with other NKF departments in the deployment of volunteers to support the execution of events, activities and programmes.
- To assist at NKF events and programmes when require
Qualification (Related Field)
Possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 2 – 5 years of relevant experiences
Experience
- At least two years’ experience in volunteer and event management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task proficiently
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to work on weekends and weekday evenings, when needed
- Candidates with previous working experience in a healthcare setting will have an added advantage
Soft Skills
- Dynamic, self-motivated and people-oriented with leadership qualities
- A team player, ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous and analytical, possess good coordination skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Proficient in MS Office
