1. Productivity Enhancement
Optimise incinerator operations to increase efficiency and throughput. Implement best practices for waste processing and resource management. Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement. To coordinate engineering works to improve plant and company efficiencies and synergies
2. Plant Maintenance
Develop and oversee a comprehensive maintenance schedule. Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. To coordinate with maintenance & engineering department and contractor for attending the respective project/maintenance/repair works. Sourcing materials, contractors & spares purchasing and delivery.
3. Repair and Troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly. Collaborate with engineers and technicians on complex repairs. Maintain detailed records of repairs and modifications.
4. Safety, Environment and Compliance Management
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety audits and drills. Provide training and guidance on safe operation procedures for night and day shifts. Maintain CEMS and Comply with NEA flue gas emission standards and requirements.To liaise with all government authorities to close findings and improvement work. Responsible for plant safety and housekeeping.
5. Team Collaboration and Training
Work closely with boiler operators and engineers to enhance their skills. Conduct training sessions to improve operational knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.
6. Other Responsibilities:
a. To check on daily activities, making sure all personnel follow SOP, checklist and safety requirements.
b. To prepare and review process/activity SOP and MOS from time to time to further enhance safety and increase throughput.
c. Liaise with internal departments and external party for new projects execution
d. Operation and maintenance cost control
e. Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by Assistant Operation Manager
f. To hold safety responsibilities for the role and report any unsafe situation
