Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax compliance matters and collaborate with external consultants for both Singapore and overseas jurisdictions.
- Provide guidance on all tax-related issues, including daily tax planning, advisory services, operational business support, and reviewing commercial contracts and cross-border transactions. Ensure accuracy in tax reporting and conduct tax due diligence.
- Offer tax technical support to regional and local finance teams, as well as business units within the Group.
- Monitor and assess the impact of proposed and newly implemented tax legislation within relevant jurisdictions.
- Identify tax-efficient opportunities and assist in managing tax strategies, including business acquisitions, restructuring initiatives, tax-efficient structuring, and risk mitigation.
- Support the finance team in the tax provisioning process.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant tax experience, with in-depth knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and returns.
- Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent, or a professional tax qualification.
- Meticulous, independent, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in International Tax is an advantage.
