As a member of the Business Support team within the Market Data Technology & Services group, you will provide specialized support to Business Advisors and Market Data Consumers. Your primary responsibilities include managing Market Data expenses, inventory, requests, and fulfilling business/client Market Data inquiries.
The role demands attention to deadlines, adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Control
- Reconcile invoices with Market Data inventory and service agreements
- Ensure timely processing of payments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of local VAT policies and ensure compliance with any changes.
- Prepare and submit necessary tax documents as per regulations.
- Create accounts under the correct business entities to meet tax and compliance standards.
- Working knowledge of Appian is a plus.
Inventory Management / Fulfillment of Market Data Requests
- Communicate effectively with clients/front office users to ensure timely and efficient delivery of Market Data services.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Calero MDSL to support inventory management and automated invoice processing (compulsory).
- Update inventory with contractual terms, price changes, service amendments, and set-ups.
- Manage inventory reporting, perform regular sanity checks, and maintain accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal COOs and external vendors regarding data provisioning and access control.
- Provide daily support to the Market Data Business Advisory team.
Reporting Management / Exchange Declarations
- Stay informed of exchange declaration and reporting policies.
- Ensure all declarations are submitted accurately and on time.
- Navigate LSEG Data Notifications efficiently for reporting purposes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven invoicing experience and Market Data inventory management are compulsory.
- In-depth understanding of the financial and banking industry, with a focus on the Asia markets.
- Proficiency in Business Objects, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Quick learner with a results-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills to provide high-quality service to users.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate and precise work delivery.
- Hands-on experience with the MDSL product suite and prior experience in a similar role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Market Data technologies and services.
- Knowledge of Appian is advantageous.
