Roles & Responsibilites
- Basic DC Operations Support, eg. Hot swop, inter-rack cabling, Power Cycle, escort, tape management, etc.
- To provision customer network services on core equipment
- To troubleshoot escalation from Helpdesk team.
- To ensure maximum possible service availability and performance
- Temperature monitoring
- Provide shift work NOC operations, such as remote hand service, customer support, hotline, etc;
- Escort customer/vendor for Data Halls visit;
- To ensure all the system is well taken care and monitor
- Support and execute task assign by the Leader.
- Escalation and alert notification.
- To ensure all the system is well taken care and monitor
Requirements:
- At least an ITE or Polytechnic graduate from an IT related programme
- Preferably with a networking certification
- 1 – 2 years’ working experience in IT Helpdesk / NOC environment (Telco Environment)
- Familiar with Network, System and Building Monitoring Systems alerts
- Good oral and written communication skills
