School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a project to conduct the research on development of durable, jointless and reduced embodied carbon ConFlexPave for port use
Job Requirements:
- Master in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry
- Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals
- Proficiency in English speaking and writing skills is essential to conduct research
- Strong references from previous supervisors needed
- Experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX)
- Experience in carbon sequestration in cement-based material would be preferable, but not required
