Responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring its effective operation, adherence to project management best practices, and alignment with organizational goals.
- To establish project governance and cadence.
- To coordinate with Technology PMO to plan and publish detailed project delivery milestones.
- To keep track of overall project progress vs planned milestones on weekly basis and escalate to Country Project Leads and Program Steering Committee (PSC) for any timeline risks.
- To keep track of project budget allocated to Business Unit/Supporting Unit and ensure spend within budget.
- To ensure project financials are up to date and correct and captured in a timely manner.
- To orchestrate cross-squad project deliverables to ensure all squads are running independently and efficiently.
- To ensure delivery of key initiatives on time and budget.
- To engage with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure alignment on key deliverables and timelines.
- To provide regular updates and follow-up on action items.
- To drive and manage end to end project delivery including requirement, design, testing, deployment etc.
- To review test strategy and coordinate defects review, bug fixes, re-testing, and closure within project timeline
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in related majors
- More than 10 years of experience in the direct management of IT application projects and possess sound banking product knowledge especially in Cards, Unsecured Loans & Payments
- Able to collaborate with external vendors and across diversified teams.
- Process-driven and is an excellent advocate of reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
