Job Description:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the flour industry.
- Address and resolve customer complaints by providing expert advice and troubleshooting to ensure satisfactory end-product quality.
- Offer technical support to both existing and potential customers, including demonstrations and recipe recommendations for flour-based products.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to address customer concerns, strengthen relationships, and expand the customer base to meet sales targets.
- Collect and analyze competitor flour samples in coordination with the QA lab to drive continuous product improvements.
- Prepare and submit timely reports on market intelligence and relevant activities.
- Conduct routine visits and follow-ups as part of after-sales service and customer engagement efforts.
- Undertake studies and tasks as assigned by management to support business objectives.
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of complementary food products, such as vegetable oils & fats, chocolate, dairy, seeds & nuts, and other baking ingredients.
- Provide technical support for complementary food products as needed.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
Relevant Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support or technical sales, within the food industry.
Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Specialized technical knowledge in a specific food ingredient category or application.
- Keen awareness of market trends and competitor activities, particularly regarding quality deviations.
