Job Summary:
The Vending Machine Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of vending machines. This includes handling mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, ensuring machines operate smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Install and configure vending machines at client locations.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and payment system issues.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
- Stocking & Calibration: Ensure accurate product dispensing by calibrating machines and maintaining inventory systems.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and machine performance.
- Customer Support: Provide on-site technical assistance and training to clients.
Requirements:
- Polytechnic diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electronics or mechanical repair is a plus.
- Previous experience in repairing vending machines or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration and electronic payment systems.
- Ability to lift heavy components and work independently.
- Valid driver’s license for traveling to service locations.
