Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including general ledger journal entries and the creation of financial and management reports.
- Perform financial analyses of business initiatives, delivering insights and commentaries on periodic financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with local tax and legal requirements by filing statutory, business statistics, and other necessary returns.
- Collaborate with suppliers, external and internal auditors, and coordinate with tax agents to ensure tax compliance and adherence to group accounting policies and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Support projects aimed at enhancing efficiency through cost-saving measures, process automation, and improved documentation.
- Develop a thorough understanding of business operations and financial procedures.
- Aid the finance department in developing and implementing internal controls.
- Undertake various ad-hoc assignments as required.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent; preferably a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- With min 3 years of experience
- Prior experience in Retail / FMCG and/or MNC environment is required for this position.
- Experienced in Navision / Dynamics 365 systems is highly advantageous.
