Role Summary
As a Demand Planning Executive, you will play a vital role in and Planners forecast demand and manage inventory levels to maintain a smooth flow of products to recipients. Role involves balancing inventory costs with meeting management goals by analysing data and adapting to changing conditions.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and execute procurement of products from suppliers
- Plan replenishment by maintaining the accuracy of plans to reflect feasible replenish plans
- Maintaining optimal inventory levels while minimising excess
- Manage product life cycle aspects, including new products, end-of-life, and phase-in/phase-out
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances, out of stock situation and perform define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence
- Implement and maintain Inventory for all SKUs by regular review and optimisation of inventory parameters
- Maintain strong working relationships and communications with suppliers to confirm and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries
- Inventory Management: Support reporting, inventory parameters, reduction and Product Life Cycle management
- Can cope with multiple tasks under limited time resource
- Perform other assignments as required
- Executive and coordination of improvement projects
- Backup for the other team members as needed
Job Requirements
- At least 5 – 8 years of experience in Demand Planning Role.
- Excellent knowledge in different functional areas of shipping such as HS code, Import/Export procedure, Customs clearance, Incoterms, L/C etc.
- Proficiency with Planning Software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel. Power Point, Word) with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate and prioritize in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
