Job Description

  • Responsible for all managing the operations of SCMI, including minor surgery and test and any other duties which are required for the management of patients of SCMI and its related medical facilities
  • Organize resources such as facilities and employees so as to ensure service efficiency
  • Plan by prioritizing customers, employees and organizational requirements
  • Performance measures for the measurement of performance and consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness
  • Assist in other areas in SCMI and its related medical facilities as and when required by your management
  • Overseeing the quality control of the radiological services provided at SCMI and its related medical facilities
  • Working with the Medical Director, Senior Management to ensure the smooth running of SCMI and its related medical facilities
  • Ensure that all radiation safety aspects of SCMI and its related medical facilities are in accordance with statutory requirement, as well as ensure that all radiation protection equipment is available and well maintained
  • Overall-in-charge of Clinic facilities and equipment
  • Main liaison person with clinic renovation / upgrading contractors and related service providers
  • Main liaison person of equipment vendors, including equipment upgrading works
  • Main point of person contacts for breakdown reporting by clinic
  • Main first response for facilities and equipment breakdowns
  • Landlord liaison on behalf of the organization and various landlords
  • Perform Tender calling exercise and conduct show rounds for tenderers
  • Assist Management in evaluating tenders and selection process which include negotiating with the tenderers the final costing
  • Assist clinics in obtaining approval and renewal from Ministry of Health
  • Facility Management and Equipment Maintenance
  1. Troubleshoot rectify day to day fault reports from clinics
  2. Liaise with vendors / suppliers regarding various equipment maintenance schedule / program
  3. Arrange for repair / replacement of medical equipment when necessary
  4. Source for new vendors to reduce operational cost
  5. Ensure standards and procedures are kept
  • Main liaison contact person with landlord’s management and their service teams
  1. Ensure timely and smooth handover of unit to landlord of level 7 unit
  2. Ensure proper timing of support from landlord’s management, service teams, so that Companies service standard are not compromised
  3. Lead Fire Warden for Company and assisting landlord in conduct of annual Fire Drill
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assign by the management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ Facilities Management discipline with minimum 5 years relevant engineering operational experience, including 2 years in healthcare
  • Diploma in any Engineering(Mechanical or Electrical) /Facilities Management discipline with minimum 10 years relevant engineering operational experience, including 2 years in healthcare
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to commit to 5.5 days work week
  • Proven experience in facility management in a large-scale facility
  • Strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences
  • Ability to remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a high level of initiative and integrity
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior
