Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Relationship Manager to join our lending team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with clients, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the lending industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your role will be crucial in driving the growth of our lending business and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Reports to: Sales Manager or Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, including small business owners, entrepreneurs, and individual borrowers.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' financial situations, goals, and challenges.
- Product Presentation: Present and explain loan products and solutions to clients, clearly outlining the benefits and features of each option.
- Negotiation: Negotiate loan terms and conditions to meet clients' needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Strive to close deals that are favorable for both the client and the company.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as underwriting and operations, to ensure a smooth and efficient loan processing experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and loan performance.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; (A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred)
- 2-3 years of sales experience in the lending industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of loan products, including terms, conditions and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet monthly sales target.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
