Job Description
As the Sales Director at Aqua Green Singapore, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and execution for our innovative hydroponic and aquaponics solutions. This role is integral in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices across Singapore and the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market share.
- Create annual sales plans with specific goals, KPIs, and initiatives aligned with Aqua Green’s mission and objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team through effective recruitment, training, and mentoring.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Conduct thorough market analyses to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the hydroponics and aquaponics sectors.
- Identify potential markets and customer segments for expansion and growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, providing tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and manage accurate sales forecasts, analyzing performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
- Utilize data analytics to identify sales trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that highlight Aqua Green’s unique value propositions.
- Represent Aqua Green at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote our products and network with potential clients.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the sales team’s product knowledge and selling skills.
- Ensure the sales team provides exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field
- 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the agriculture, food, or sustainability sectors, hotel or restaurant chains experience is an advantage
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a competitive market.
- Knowledge of hydroponics, urban farming, or sustainable agriculture practices is a plus.
