Job Responsibilities
• Achieve complete understanding and alignment to our company Safety & Health, Security and Asset Management policies.
• Achieve complete understanding and alignment to our department Vision, Mission and Core Values and communicate these to your TMA team for their necessary complete understanding and alignment.
• Achieve complete understanding and alignment to our department maintenance plans.
• Participate in night work and emergency recovery activities when necessary
• Achieve operational understanding of track alignment fundamentals.
• Achieve operational understanding of our DTL track alignment tolerance limits.
• Achieve operational understanding of our DTL track quality index (TQI) requirements.
• Achieve operational understanding of our possible mitigation and recovery methods for
conditions exceeding the DTL track alignment tolerance limits.
• Achieve operational understanding of our detection systems, but not limited to:
o Automatic Track Inspection (ATI)
o Multi-Function Vehicle (MFV)
o Multi-Function Track Trolley (MFTT)
o Other assigned hand-operated manual detection tools or equipment
(eg, manual track and third rail gauges, rail wear gauge, versine measurement tool, etc.)
• Review and participate, when necessary, in the planning of the preventive maintenance
(PM) regime for your TMA team to ensure practicality and alignment to their rostered
work schedule.
• Deploy prudent resource management and prioritization to facilitate productivity and
timeliness in implementing the planned TMA PM regime to achieve the New Rail
Financing Framework (NRFF) maintenance KPIs.
• Maintain an active and up-to-date database for DTL track alignment defects.
• Track and analyse DTL track alignment data to recommend the next courses-of-action,
which may include mitigation and recovery processes.
• Develop, compute and analyse our DTL TQI in a timely manner to recommend the
necessary courses-of-action for track areas with particular alignment concerns.
• Develop, review and maintain work instructions and respective risk assessments for your
TMA team maintenance processes in a timely manner to ensure the contents are
relevant, up-to-date, practical and aligned to OEM recommendations and best practices.
• Participate in all maintenance, system and safety audits related to your TMA team.
• Develop and communicate emergency response plans and drills to your TMA team for
timely implementation when necessary.
• Organize regular communication and feedback sessions with your TMA team.
• Monitor the performance of each TMA team member to recommend commendation and
disciplinary action, when necessary, to your Team Head.
• Identify TMA staff with high potential and recommend their progression plans to your
Team Head for succession planning.
• Support your Team Head in LTA or our department projects related to your TMA team.
• Take on other tasks assigned by your Team Head or superior(s).
Requirements
- Local Degree in any engineer field
- Fresh graduates are welcomed
- Able to commit night work as and when required
