Job Description
The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a construction project, focusing on supervising precast deliveries, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), and recording and addressing project delays. This role ensures that work is executed according to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery, handling, and installation of precast components to ensure they meet project specifications and schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to schedule deliveries and manage any logistical challenges.
- Inspect precast materials upon arrival to confirm quality and compliance with design requirements.
- Identify and raise RFIs to clarify project details, resolve design conflicts, or address discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to obtain timely responses to RFIs.
- Document and track the resolution of RFIs to ensure that issues are addressed and integrated into the project.
- Monitor project progress and document any delays or disruptions affecting the project schedule.
- Report delays to stakeholders and provide regular updates on the status and impact of the delays.
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate the work of construction workers, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
- Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is performed according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Address and rectify any quality issues or non-compliance findings.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Conduct safety meetings and inspections to promote and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project managers.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, including updates on precast deliveries, RFIs, delays, and other project metrics.
- Document and report incidents, changes, and project developments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project.
- Review and enforce adherence to project contracts, permits, and documentation.
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Must possess a proactive attitude, self-motivated, a team player and have strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant experience in RC structure works
