Our client is a Global Transportation MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Project Executive (Oil & Gas/ Freight Forwarding) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Islandwide.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site logistics and shipping support at the client’s location.
- Plan and manage shipment schedules based on material expediting reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers for cargo collection and identify appropriate sailings.
- Liaise with overseas offices for freight matter (e.g. rates, bookings, tracking shipment updates, etc).
- Obtain competitive freight rates from carriers and handle bookings with them.
- Handle import/export permits for customs clearance.
- Track shipment status daily and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and issue quotations and invoices promptly.
- Collaborate with local and international team for tender preparations.
- Compile project costs, shipment P&L, and generate monthly reports.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Min Diploma in logistics / supply chain studies or equivalent
- Min 3 years’ relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office would be advantages.
