IN BRIEF
The Head of Production (Experiential) is responsible for the management of the live experiential events in Singapore.
They are responsible for ensuring outstanding results from all teams members, establishing and maintaining a high performance culture and maintaining the general well being, satisfaction and professional development of all the events team and personnel
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Production & Execution
- Outstanding understanding of technical production and proven experience working with production and creative experts to gain best-in-class production solutions to meet client objectives, including but not limited to:
- Video production including storyboarding, music licensing, pre and post production management
- Vision technology, including projection, LED, LCD, touch screens
- Audio & Lighting
- Show calling, Stage management, Speaker management, Talent management
- Crew and contractor management in pre-production and onsite
- Onsite resource management
- Registration and delegate logistics
- Workplace health & safety including risk assessments, safe work method statements and onsite safety
Mentorship and Leadership
- Management of your DARKHORSE project team(s) to foster best practice, team cohesion and profitability
- Manage team members, including providing guidance, feedback, and career development opportunities and mentorship
- Managing positive and collaborative inter-departmental relationships with other DARKHORSE departments, Project Worldwide agencies and leadership team through planning, communication, direction, reporting and business intelligence
- Guidance on best practice to project team members through regular project meetings by providing thought leadership, creative influencing and direction, and quality control on all of the teams’ outputs
- Analyze; inspire; recruit; and manage the project teams for your clients, so that DARKHORSE constantly exceeds our client’s expectations
- Develop and execute a training plan
Communication
- Mandate and maintain outstanding quality of all project documentation and administration from the team and ensure the timely dissemination to all relevant stakeholders
- Conduct regular WIP meetings with internal and external teams and clients to enable effective project planning
- Effective risk management though the identification, communication and escalation to mitigate negative outcomes
- Ensure agency-wide communications on project and team developments are maintained via weekly agency WIP meetings and other ad-hoc meetings as required
- Must have excellent writing ability and communication skills to effectively articulate your message, through presentations and case studies
Creative Development & Championship
- Support the creative development of project proposals with the wider team and ensure creative output is of the highest standards
- Demonstrate creative leadership through idea generation, cultural awareness, collaborative creative development meetings and creative direction throughout the proposal development process
Financial Accountability
- Oversee budget scoping to ensure all project requirements are accurately scoped with the appropriate level of detail and standard profit margins are established
- Oversee consistent and accurate budget reporting to the client on a regular basis to ensure cost changes are accurately tracked and Gross Profit Margin are maintained and increased throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee and ensure accurate budget reconciliations are completed for all projects within 30 days post event
- Oversee and ensure client invoicing and cash flow management on all projects to ensure projects are always in positive cash flow
- Monthly forecasting and reporting of expected project revenue to Management
Process
- Ensure compliance and championship of internal DARKHORSE processes with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct training with team members when required to ensure process and procedures are understood and adhered to
New Business / Growth
- Grow strong relationships with Clients, and identify opportunities to grow revenue
- Provide proactive proposals to existing clients to maximise on growth opportunities
- Support with winning pitches, including resourcing and leading pitch teams, budgeting and presenting
