A Research Fellow position is currently available in the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI).

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and synthesizing thin-film composite (TFC) hollow fiber membranes
- Processing, modifying, and incorporating COF materials into TFC hollow fiber membranes
- Characterizing COF materials and hollow fiber membranes
- Evaluating CO2 adsorption and separation performances
Job Requirements:
- PhD from a reputable university in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or other related disciplines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
- Good communication, interpersonal and oral presentation skills.
- Good synthetic experimental skills for nanomaterials immobilization and hollow fiber membrane fabrication and modification
- Good knowledge of membrane-based gas separation process
- Good writing skills for proposal and report writing and publication in good academic journals
