Our subsidiary - Global Cultural Alliance Limited - are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Arts Administrator to join our team, with the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time. The Arts Administrator will provide essential support in the planning, coordination, and execution of GCA's artistic programmes and initiatives. Key Responsibilities
● Programme Support: Assist in the planning and coordination of exhibitions, workshops, and events, including logistics, scheduling, and communication with artists and partners.
● Administrative Duties: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, handling correspondence, and preparing reports and documentation.
● Budgeting and Finance: Monitor budgets, process invoices, and support financial tracking for various projects and initiatives.
● Marketing and Communications: Assist in the promotion of GCA's activities, including updating social media channels, coordinating with designers for marketing materials, and managing event invitations and RSVPs.
● Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with artists, curators, partners, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of programmes and events.
● Research and Development: Conduct research on potential collaborators, funding opportunities, and industry trends to inform future projects and strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
● Education: A diploma or degree in Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or a related field, with a recent graduation from an arts institution being highly desirable.
● Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or project coordination role is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
● Skills:
○ Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
○ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
○ A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
○ Experience with social media management and basic marketing is an advantage.
