Position Summary: As a Purchaser you will be responsible for coordinating and ordering various products, equipment and services, interact with vendors, and prepare reports. You will create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure purchases are of high quality and delivered on time, cost, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Procure material, parts, components, tools, and equipment from the approved suppliers and subcontractors, in compliance with the applicable
aviation regulations and company procedures. - Expedite parts, services and materials in accordance to the level of urgency within the boundaries of the company policies and related
obligations. - Source and purchase aircraft consumables for inventory replenishment.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent
- Job relevant vocational training/ technical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a purchaser preferably in the aviation industry
- Solid knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors
- Good English language skills (spoken and written)
- Good MS office skills
- Knowledge in SAP system is a plus
