Job description
- Design and develop automation solutions using PLC, robotic, and motion control technologies.
- Create purchase lists for electrical devices needed for automation control systems.
- Understand customer process flows to design control architecture/layout accordingly.
- Program PLCs to control robots, sorters, conveyors, AGVs, servo systems, etc.
- Familiar with different PLC such as Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, etc.
- Collect and analyze machine data to work with IT team for development in IoT, Machine Learning/AI.
- Coordinate internally with departments and HQ/subsidiaries to resolve technical issues and provide customer solutions.
- Source and Liaise with suppliers for cost optimization and implementation.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in robot, agv/amr, conveyors, etc.
- Preferred candidates have experience in projects related to material handling solutions, palletizing/depalletizing, pick & place, sorting, etc.
- Team player and willing to work at sites such as warehouse, distribution centers, factories, etc.
