Job Description:
We are looking for talented and highly motivated candidate to work on the research and development of flat optics. The recruited scientist will work in the National Semiconductor Translation and Innovation Centre (NSTIC), managed by A*STAR.
The candidate should have a solid background and hands-on experience in the research of optics. Candidate shall be able to perform independent research and solve challenging problems together with the team to deliver high impact results.
The main work scope of the position is as follow:
· Design and simulation of flat optics, including using machine learning method.
· Micro-nanofabrication of flat optics and their characterization.
· Technology development and translation to industry applications.
Job Requirements:
· PhD in Physics or Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science
· Hands-on experiences on flat optics or metaoptics are added advantages.
· Good team player, resilient in tackling challenge, effective communication ability.
